Teddy "Ted" Fosdick, 77, of Edwardsburg, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, following an accidental fall.
He was born on October 9, 1942 in Decatur, Michigan to the late Rudd Irwin and Bessie Mae (Mince) Fosdick.
Ted graduated from high school in Cassopolis, class of 1961.
Ted was not a man who craved action and adventure. Instead, he found contentment in simple things. Family was a priority to Ted; he enjoyed time spent with his family doing anything. Ted even stepped up and helped raise his younger brother Terry. He was an avid fan of Michigan sports; the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers were two of his very favorites.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rudd and Bessie Fosdick.
Ted is survived by his children, Jeff (Mary Lynn) Fosdick of Novi, Michigan, Tammy (Robert) Post of South Bend, Indiana and Stephen (Christine) Fosdick of Lakeland, Florida; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his siblings, Taylor Fosdick of Bridgeman, Pat (Joe) Young of Cassopolis and Terry (Debbie) Fosdick of Paw Paw, Michigan.
In keeping with Ted's wishes he will be laid to rest at Crane Cemetery, where friends and family will gather in the spring to remember him.
