Tara Yvonne Dawdy White Hall - Tara Yvonne Dawdy, 46, of White Hall passed away Wednesday evening, June 8, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born September 20, 1975 in White Hall the daughter of Ralph and Karen Hicks Virgin. She married Dwayne Dawdy on August 17, 1995 at the First Baptist Church in White Hall and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Breighann Dawdy (fiancé, Nathan Early) of White Hall; one brother, Daron Virgin (Heather Northcutt) of Manchester; 5 sisters, Tracy (Kevin) Rollins of Winchester, Kathy Thomas of Brookfield, MO, Teresa Lee of Midland, TX, Michelle Gilmore (Ed Stewart) of Greenfield and Angela "Krissy" Virgin (Joe Combs) of White Hall; several nieces and nephews; her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Georgieann Dawdy of White Hall and brothers-in-law, Billy Dawdy of Hardin, KY and Michael Dawdy of White Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Debra Parker. Tara was currently employed as the Bookkeeper at the Regional Superintendent of Schools office in Jerseyville. She attended the First Christian Church in White Hall. Tara loved spending time with her daughter and being with her dogs. She enjoyed riding on her side by side, shopping, reading, crafts and watching the Hallmark Channel. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the First Christian Church in White Hall with burial at White Hall Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or American Legion Post 70.
