Funeral services for Mr. T.H. Flanagan, 90, of Mt. Enterprise, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Bro. Shak Arrington officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at the funeral home. Mr. Flanagan passed from this life on May 9, 2022, at his residence. He was born September 12, 1931, in Rusk County to the late T.D. and Bonnie (Hunter) Flanagan and lived most of his life in Mt. Enterprise. T.H. graduated from Mt. Enterprise High School and then served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed stateside where he was a mechanic in charge of maintenance on Army trucks. After his service, Mr. Flanagan went to work for Moore Brothers Construction in Lufkin where he retired after 30 years as truck foreman. He loved being a mechanic and also enjoyed hunting. T.H. was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Master Mason, was Past Master of Mt. Enterprise Lodge #1378 AF & AM, was a member of Pine Hill Lodge #95 AF & AM, and he was a Shriner. Mr. Flanagan had also been attending the Church of Christ in Cushing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Darlene Flanagan, and sister Johnnie Mae Reynolds. Survivors include his son, Roger Flanagan and wife Laura of Mt. Enterprise; brother, Leon Flanagan and wife Yvonne of Mt. Enterprise; grandchildren, April Flanagan, Jennifer Kupec and husband Eric, Ashley Flanagan, and Rainey Ipock and husband Zachary; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Flanagan, Chesney Oates, Harley Courtney, Presley Collier, Willow Sway Courtney, Codee Flanagan, Kayden Courtney, Roger Flanagan, Thomas Flanagan, and Christopher Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Timber Lindsey, Zeb Makarski, James Wilkerson, Eddie Farris, Rolan Sweat, and Zachary Ipock. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
