KING, Sylvia 86, of Dover, Florida, passed away on June 27, 2022. Sylvia was born on November 13, 1935, in Bloomingdale, Florida. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1953 and was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough County. She wed Henry H. King on March 1, 1955 and lived a lifetime of love for 67 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover and was just recognized for serving Meals on Wheels for the last 15 years. She was the truest example of the heart of God and is beloved by all who knew her. Sylvia was predeceased by father, Willie Stone and mother, Julia Hendricks Hewitt; sister, Jeanette Stone Irvine and brother, Glen Hewitt. She is survived by her husband, Henry H. King; sons, Randall (Theresa) King, Todd King and Scott (Lydia) King; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on July 7, 2022 at 10 am at First Baptist Church of Dover, 3223 Gallagher Road, Dover, FL 33527. Service will be at 11 am following visitation. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Meals On Wheels in memory of Sylvia King at the First Baptist Church of Dover at 3223 Gallagher Road, Dover, Florida 33527.
