SIDNEY FRANK CLARK
March 1, 1957 ~ February 26, 2021
Sidney Frank Clark - Sid, 63 of Odessa, TX left us much too soon on Friday, February 26th, 2021.
How does one put pen to paper and possibly appropriate adequate words to represent the entirety of the life and legacy of one of the greatest most important men they have ever known...?
There's a shortage of paper, and not nearly enough words...
Sid Clark was so many things to so many people...a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, best friend, The Patr?n, Pants...and Grandpa Sharky...the list could go on. A blue-eyed gentle giant, charming and witty, he gave the best big teddy bear hugs...filled with both comfort and reassurance. As a successful restaurateur, food was one of his love languages...no one could throw down in a kitchen quite like Sid. It was not just a love of food, but the moments and experiences brought about by his unforgettable culinary masterpieces. So many fond memories around so many dinner tables. Whether it be one of his own or another...he loved to try new tastes. Seven thousand appetizers later and loads of good stories, great food and conversation, Sid had a long standing and seemingly unbeatable record for bringing good people together over a great meal. Sometimes inviting 10-15...to 50 extra people over for holiday dinners but forgetting to let everyone else know...the man could be excessive and last minute, but he was truly magical with a most generous and genuine heart. He put so much of himself into everything he did, it is testament to just how successful he was in so many facets of his life. He invested in people, not just the business of life and it shows. He leaves behind a long and loving line of people who will cling dearly to his memory, until the one beautiful someday that we may all be reunited in that bigger, better place.
