South Bend - Suzanne Ruszkowski, 71, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Memorial Hospital.
Suzanne was born July 27, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to the late George and Genevieve (Wantuch) Molnar. On April 23, 1966, in St. Stanislaus Church, Suzanne married Harry Ruszkowski, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2002. Suzanne was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Notestine, and a granddaughter, Emily Notestine.
Survivors of Suzanne include her son, Robert J. Ruszkowski (Tracy Smith) and daughter, Jody Ruszkowski, both of South Bend, IN; son-in-law, Kristopher Notestine of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Brock undefined Amanda Notestine; sister, Mary Ann (Donald) Grabarek of South Bend, IN, many nieces and nephews, a great niece and many great nephews.
Suzanne retired from the Milton Home where she was in nursing. She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Harvest House, South Bend Alumni Association, Michiana Chapter Studebaker Drivers Club, St. Hedwig Golden Cluster, St. John the Baptist retirees group and American Legion Post 357. Most of all, Suzanne enjoyed crocheting and spending time and traveling with her family and friends.
She will be cremated and buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery with her husband, Harry Jr. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to the Potawatomi Zoo General Fund in Suzanne's name.
