Suzanne Elizabeth Chambers, 59, a lifelong resident of Skagit Valley, and tribal member of the Upper Skagit Tribe passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Skagit Valley Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1961 in Sedro-Woolley, WA, the daughter to Nicholas Denunzio, Sr. and Lucille Williams.
Sue was a fisherwoman of the Upper Skagit River and worked numerous labor jobs throughout her lifetime. She was often seen cooking HUGE dinners for cultural gatherings and casino gambling.
Suzanne is survived by her partner, Enrique Tellez; sons, Edmond Mathias (Kris), Eric Mathias (Marcy); daughter, Lucille Mathias; aunt, Marilyn Rock; brothers; Nick Denunzio, Ronald Bright, Sam Bright; sisters; Vicki Denunzio, Debbie Bright-Charles, Tamara Bright; 8 grandchildren; Jaelyn, Jordan, Jerome, Leelee, Larissa, Josh, Emma, Myla; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Denunzio, Sr., Lucille Williams; husband, Timothy Chambers; brothers, Mike Denunzio, Rodney Bright; sisters, Barbara Jean Monzana, Sandra Denunzio; grandchild, Shantae Anderson.
