Suzan E. "Sue" Kennedy of Butler, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her home.Born Sept. 14, 1949, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kochick and Francis (Miller) Kochick.Sue was a 1968 graduate of Carrick High School. Sue was the head cashier for Hills Department Store and manager of Altmeyer's, and she also worked at the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora, where she was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary.She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. "Tom" Kennedy, whom she married on July 10, 1992; her daughter, Michele Boland, and her husband, Chris, of Butler; two sons, Scott Murray and his wife, Melody, of Butler, and Tim Murray of Waynesburg; her brother, Michael Kochick of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Savannah Kepple and her husband, Jared, Dalton Stroup, Tanner Boland, Matthew Mackalica, Trevor and Alexis Murray, and Escher Moss-Murray; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Keegan Kepple; numerous nieces and nephews; and her golden retriever and best friend, Casey.In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul "Blackey" Kochick and Peter "Butchy" Kochick.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for all of their dedication and care to Sue over the past few weeks.KENNEDY - Arrangements for Suzan E. "Sue" Kennedy, who died Thursday, July 21, 2022, have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E.
