Susan Wyneken, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on January 24, 2024, at Kingston Care Center. She was born February 2, 1934, in Xenia, OH, the daughter of William N. and Barbara (Clevenger) Collingwood.She graduated from Rocky River High School, Rocky River, OH, and attended The Ohio State University. She volunteered with the Fort Wayne Ballet as a member of the production staff from 1960-1970.Susan is survived by her daughter, Karen "Kacy" Hignite of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Michael (Sheryl) Wyneken of Oaktie, SC; brother, Thomas R. (Gretchen) Collingwood of Ft. Collins, CO.She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Don Wyneken. Funeral service will be 1:30 pm Friday February 2, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 2 hours prior. Entombment at Lindenwood Cemetery.
