Sparkman Hillcrest Obits
Susan Steger Rhoads, 72, passed away on June 3, 2020 in Dallas. Susan was born in Dallas on April 1, 1948 to Robert B. Steger and Geraldine T. Steger.
She graduated from Kimball High School. She attended East Texas University and received her masters in library science from North Texas University.
She was a teacher and librarian at South Grand Prairie High School and retired from Highland Park High School after 28 years in the library.
She was a member at University Park Methodist Church.
Susan is survived by her husband Robert Rhoads, her son Brian Dubiski, her sister Sally (Steve) Bond, and her sister-in-law Nancy Ewald, her grandchildren Madison and Ty Dubiski as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and lots of good friends.
Memorials may be given to University Park United Methodist Church at 4024 Caruth Blvd Dallas, TX 75225 Church Mission Fund in name of Susan Rhoads.
Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2020 2:00-6:00pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be Saturday, June 6, 2020 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Park 7405 W. Northwest Hwy Dallas, TX 75225. For online condolences please visit www.sparkman-hillcrest.com
