Susan T. Turgeon, 51, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2022 at her home in Candia, NH. She was born August 19, 1970 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Richard F. McGregor and Nancy Lee (Moran) McGregor.
Susan grew up in Cambridge, MA and was one of three children in her family. In 1995, she married David LaCava and they had three children together who they raised in Waltham, MA and Wareham, MA. Initially Susan was employed as a manager for Angelina's Restaurant in Portsmouth, NH until the restaurant closed. She then found longtime employment with Market Basket. Susan began at the Epping location, then worked in Stratham, was baking manager the longest in Seabrook, and also worked in Hudson, Nashua and finished in Hooksett. Susan helped to open Market Basket locations in Chelsea, MA and Rochester, NH. On August 8, 2008 after re-kindling an old friendship, she married Brian Turgeon. They have resided in Candia, NH since then. Susan loved to ride the motorcycle with Brian, go to their camp in Stewartstown to go snowmobiling and she was talented at writing stories and poems. She was very caring of her canine companions, Ruka and Dominic. Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a nephew, Richard "Ricky" McGregor.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Turgeon, son, Keith LaCava, daughter, Briana LaCava, daughter, Alyssa LaCava, step-daughter, Krysta Turgeon and her three children, Mya, Mikey and Sadie, sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and David Larocque, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sherry McGregor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Church, 200 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
Spring burial will be in Holbrook Cemetery, Candia, NH.
