Mrs. Susan Lynn Jordan Maynard, age 44, of North Vernon, Indiana entered this life on May 27, 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Nancy Jordan. She graduated from Jennings County High School in 1997 and then attended Indiana University. On February 29, 2008 she was united in marriage to Ricky Ajay Maynard at the North Vernon City Building. This happy union of 14 years was blessed with one son, Ajay Dale. She had worked various jobs and had last worked with Jennings County Schools. She loved cooking for her family, playing video games, and always enjoyed her polar pops from Circle-K. Susan died on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. at her home in North Vernon, Indiana. Susan will be missed by her loving husband of 14 years, Ricky Ajay Maynard of North Vernon, Indiana; her loving son, Ajay Dale Maynard of North Vernon, Indiana; her mother in law, Vadah Ruth Hawkins and her husband, Scott of Madison, Indiana; her father in law, Arnold Jay Maynard and his wife, Cheryl of Dallas, Texas; her sister in law, Fonda Edwards and her husband, Charles of Commiskey, Indiana; her nephews, Garrie and David Maynard; her cousins, Amy Claire of North Vernon, Indiana, Leo Howard of North Vernon, Indiana; and other relatives . She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Jordan, died in 2007. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., by Reverend Wayne Mahoney at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Marble Corner Cemetery in Madison, Indiana. Friends may visit Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
