Susan Maloney died suddenly on August 30, 2019 in Lennoxville, Quebec. She was born to James F. and Joan D. Maloney, formerly of Hanover, NH and Gloucester, MA, on April 30, 1954, in Trenton, New Jersey. Susan lived with her family in Newtown, Pennsylvania and North Hatley, Quebec until the age of 10. Having been born with significant cognitive impairments, Susan moved to Dixville, Quebec, a community setting for children and adults with special needs. At the time of her passing, she lived under the loving care of Patrick Masse and Dianne McCourt in Ascot Corner, Quebec.
Susan was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her five brothers, J. Jeffrey of Gloucester, Massachusetts, J. Philip of Bigfork, Montana, W. Joseph of Hanover, New Hampshire, Mark F. of Auburn, New Hampshire and Sean Patrick of Cold Spring, New York and their families.
There will be a mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Good Voyage in Gloucester, Massachusetts on Friday, September 6, at 11am followed by private interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Lynn, Massachusetts.
