ARLINGTON HEIGHTS Susan (nee Findling) Kahle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world on June 12, 2022, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Susan was born in Indiana, the second of three daughters to Herbert and Irene Findling. She married the love of her life, Roger, shortly after college graduation. Together, they embarked on a life of education and service that took them across the US and Switzerland, before settling in Illinois. Along the way, Susan earned a MA in education, facilitated her husband's further education and career, lovingly raised 3 children, and worked as the friendly face of the public library information desk. She focused much of her time on helping others through a range of volunteer activities. She also enjoyed a busy schedule of world travel, cultural events, and spending as much time as possible with her beloved grandchil-dren and grandpuppies. Susan is preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her children Michael, Sara and Kristin; children-in-law Miguel, Aaron, and Christine; and grandchildren Miriam, Isaac, Nathan, and Alexis. A visitation is scheduled for 10-11am and service at 11am on July 16th, 2022, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
