Susan "Tooie" Hoy Dunlap of Vero Beach, Florida and Harbor Springs, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2020.
Born in Montclair, NJ the daughter of Justin and Margaret Hoy, Tooie was raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was an excellent tennis player, golfer and an enthusiastic bridge player. She will be remembered for her quick wit, poignant sense of humor and keen eye for design.
Tooie is survived by her devoted husband Robert "Robin" A. Dunlap, Jr., her three sons, Andrew Dubuque (Suzannah), Theodore "Teddy" Dubuque, and Raymond "Reidy" Dubuque, IV (Samantha), her two step-children Robert "Drew" Dunlap, III and Cecile Dunlap (Steve), as well as her four siblings Justin Hoy Jr., Katherine Alder, Lannon Gruchalla, Michaela Purcell, and Gregory Hoy.
She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Briggs, Margaret, Ridgely, Scheper, William, Harrison and Zane.
A celebration of life will be held at St Paul's Church in Vero Beach at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 1st. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach.
