She enjoyed growing and canning a wide variety of vegetables from tomatoes and green beans to rows of corn. She was generous, always sharing her fresh vegetables with family and friends. Susan also found great enjoyment prowling in antique stores for early American pattern glass. She was passionate about antique glass, sharing her knowledge and proudly displaying her favorite pieces in her home. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ardith Christenson.
