Sue Murphy Flowers, 85, of Wilson, formerly of Stantonsburg, died Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Funeral, Monday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Tuesday, 10:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery.
Sue was a member of Stantonsburg Baptist Church. She spent years working in the banking industry and enjoyed all things outdoors in her spare time - yard work, gardening, camping. Sue was also quite the crafter and enjoyed selling her works at local arts and crafts events.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Deans Flowers. Surviving is her daughter, Lori Bowling of Mebane; son, Bryan Flowers (Faith) of Apex; grandchildren; Lindsey F. Smith (Christian) of Greensboro, Parker Flowers of Apex and Mason Bowling of Mebane; sister, Ann Jones of Greenville; sister-in-law, Brenda Strickland, and brother-in-law, Billy Flowers, Jr (Lucille), all of Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Stantonsburg, PO Box 53, Stantonsburg, NC 27883.
