STOW - Steven H. Williams, 62, went home to be with his Lord on December 29, 2021.
Born in Birmingham, AL, Steve was a Stow resident for 26 years and retired from FirstEnergy in 2018. He was affiliated with Love, Inc. and had been an active member of Stow Alliance Fellowship, where he served as deacon and treasurer.
Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Carol Williams, Steve is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kim; sister Sue (Norm) Armentrout; mother-in-law, Alice Weber; brother-in-law, Ken (Liz) Weber; sister-in-law, Dian (Bob) Harner; 7 nieces and nephews, 8 great-nieces and nephews, and dear family friends, Dhiraj and Kavita Sankala and their children.
Friends may call Friday, January 14, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Laws will conduct a Celebration of Life Service at Stow Alliance Fellowship Church, Stow Road, Stow 44224, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11 am, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Love, Inc., of Greater Akron, 1557 Vernon Odom Blvd., Ste 105, Akron 44320, or Stow Alliance Fellowship.
