SCHERMESSER FUNERAL HOME
Steve Kapeluck, 86, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 21, 2022. He was born September 26, 1935 in Akron to the late Steven and Mary Kapeluck. Steve was a 1953 graduate of St. Vincent High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from the B. F. Goodrich Chemical Company in 1996. Steve was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barb; daughter, Michele (John) Schermesser; sons, Gary, Donald, Sr., Steven (Melissa) and James Kapeluck; grandchildren, Christa (Ryan), Jason (Kim), Erin, Joe, Brittni, Donald, Jr, Michael, Sara, Jodie (Jason), Steven, Jr., Jesse, Troy, Tyler, Kaylee; great grandchildren, Rylen, Wyatt, Josie and Talen.
