Steven Paul Hills, 72, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 1st at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Ferndale, MI on January 6th, 1950 to Evelyn and Justin Hills and graduated from Alcona High School in Harrisville, MI in 1968. He then served our country in the US Navy from 1969-73 and was stationed in Jacksonville, FL. Steve was a contractor and also worked at Salser Construction until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, playing games with family and following the NFL. Surviving is his loving wife of 43 years, Rita; his children; John(Tina) Sayan and Nesha(Stan) Salser of Ocala, FL, Jonathan(Jennifer) Hills of St Johns, MI, Gregory (Courtney) Hills of Midland, MI; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; his brother Mike Hills; many nieces and nephews and good friend Danny Robinson. A private family service will be held at Robert's Funeral Home Bruce Chapel East in Ocala, FL on Friday Nov 18th, 2022 at 2pm. Steve is predeceased by his parents, brother Gary Hills and his son Jason Hills.
