Steve Thomas, age 63, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away on January 28, 2026, at his home, where he was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus.
Steve was born on October 2, 1962. He was the son of Glenndon Perry Spivey and Imogene White, both of whom preceded him in death. He was later adopted and raised by his maternal grandparents, Clay and Laura Thomas, who also preceded him in death.
Steve was united in marriage to Rhonda Thomas, with whom he shared many cherished years until her passing on August 12, 2008. In later years, Steve was blessed to find love again and married Leona (Clem) Thomas on September 17, 2021.
He was a hardworking man who spent eight years working at Main Event Video Store in Crothersville and fifteen years at Walmart. Steve was a devoted member of the Church of the New Covenant in Austin, Indiana, where his faith was evident through both service and generosity. He worked faithfully in the church's Blessing Room and also began God's Blessings from his garage to help those in need.
Steve enjoyed yard sales, collecting coins and guns, and spending time with others. Known for his warm heart, he loved to joke and cut up, but above all, he was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Leona (Clem) Thomas of Crothersville, IN; his children, Phillip Edward (Natosha) Thomas of Henryville, IN, Lana Marie Thomas-Silvers of Crothersville, IN, Benjamin Coomer of Crothersville, IN, Robert "Bobby" Isenhower of North Carolina, and William Isenhower of Crothersville, IN; and his three grandchildren, Carter, Liam, and Savannah.
He is also survived by his siblings, Laura (Pat) Hogan, William "Junior" (Tammy McGrady) Napier, John (Rhonda McIntosh) Burns, and Joe (Bridget) Burns.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tonya Begley, in addition to his parents and grandparents.
Services were held at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Crothersville.
