Stephen Paul "Wimpy" Tripp, aged 35 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at his home to join his heavenly father on Friday, December 16, 2022 following a brief illness.
Born January 30, 1987 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of Stephen P. McKibben and Tamberlee Kay (Dennis Brooks) Tripp.
Stephen was caretaker for Home of Joy Farm in Lancaster, Ohio and previously worked in the oil field industry. He was a 2006 graduate of Logan High School, where he was also a member of the Chieftain football team.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Thomas T. Tripp III and Andrew R. (Kara Edmonds) Tripp; three sisters, Sara (Adam) Lehman, Nikki Suttles and Amber Hudson; fianc?, Margie M. Bowe; sons, Jameson Tripp and Christian and Asher Thomas; daughters, McKenna Tripp, Aryana Sexton, Aiyana Bowe and Caliyah Thomas; nieces, Miranda Bowe, Alexis Bowe and Emily Tripp; nephews, Tavis and Cason Tripp, J.T. Markus Stuttle III, Jax Williamson, Austin and Brian Bowe and Rolf and Harper Lehman; cousins, Courtney (Maen) Alrousan, Mikey Inman Jr., Scott Inman, Regina Snipes, Meranda Chase and Goldie Blosser; aunt, Karen Inman; and uncles, Robert L. (GlenDora) McKibben, William and Mike Inman; and many friends.
Stephen was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Rosemary McKinniss and Mary Jane (McKibben) Meyer; grandfather, Lawrence Clyde McKibben; sister, Sarah Stuttle (Tripp), son, Elijah J.A. Thomas; aunt, Patti A. McKibben; and uncle, Michael R. McKibben.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, officiated by Joshua N. Martin.
Burial will follow at New Fairview Memorial Gardens - Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 and 12 PM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
