Stephen Ross Teale, (78), passed away on October 5, 2022, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born in Coventry, England, August 15, 1944. After WWII., Steve and his parents relocated to Ontario, Canada in 1947. In 1965, the Teale family moved to Arizona. Steve enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
He was the CEO and co-founder of Rossmar Management company from 1968 to 2001. His company was ranked the largest property management company in the state of Arizona. Steve never received a formal college education, but he would say he went to the school of Hard Knocks.
He will be remembered for being someone who worked hard and played hard. His love of hockey began at the age of 8, with his dad as his coach. As an adult, he loved playing golf, fishing, and boating at Oceanside with friends. Other past times included playing poker, shooting pool and collecting classic cars. Steve being an only child, cherished his friendships greatly. He was usually the loudest voice in the crowd and always cracking jokes. He would often say and would contribute his outgoing personality because he was born a "Leo."
He is survived by daughters, Stephanie Teale-Sanchez (Jose-Antonio Sanchez), Jacqueline Teale, his ex-wife Carolyn Teale, Pat and Rick Davison, and granddaughter Carina Sanchez. He was predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Thomas Teale.
The memorial service will be held October 22, 2022, at 3:00pm at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park, 6500 East Bell Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association or to Lion's Club International. Steve's final resting place will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
