Stephanie Jensen Blackburn unexpectedly passed away April 4, 2022 in Peach Springs, Arizona.
She was born Feb. 1, 1955 in Emmett, Idaho. She graduated from Emmett High in 1973 and attended Ricks College the next year. Stephanie and her husband Alan were married Aug. 13, 1974 in the Ogden, Utah temple. Most recently they were serving a self-reliance service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Las Vegas Mission.
Stephanie is survived by her husband Alan, their nine children and spouses, 47 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Five of her grandsons are serving missions on five different continents. Survivors also include her mother Wenona Jensen, siblings Marita (Rod) Hawker, Laurel (Ralph) Mouritsen, Vaughn (Lisa) Jensen, Shelly (Mike) Reed, Eric (Brenda) Jensen, Heather (Charlie) West, Doyle (Trine) Jensen. Her father Gary Richard Jensen preceded her in death in 2001.
Stephanie helped others feel loved and cared for, welcoming all into her family and home. Her legacy will live on.
The funeral service is Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m. in the Hermiston stake center, 1035 SE 9th St., Hermiston, Oregon, with viewing at 1 a.m.
