Stella (Pawlicki) Dabrowski, 95, of New Britain, died peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Msgr. Bojnowski Manor. One of nine children born to the late Antoni and Katarzyna (Parda) Pawlicki, Stella was a life-long New Britain resident. A dedicated parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Stella was a member of the Rosary Society, St. Martha's League and an active volunteer making pierogi for the annual Church Bazaar. Stella was an excellent cook and prepared many traditional Polish dishes for her family. All those who knew and loved Stella will miss her greatly. She is survived by her children: Christine Kosak and husband Chester and Bruce Dabrowski and wife Connie; her adored grandchildren: Bethany, Andrew, Katherine and husband, Paul and Thomas and wife, Elizabeth; her cherished great-grandchildren: Miles and Josie; and her siblings: Edmund and Theodore Pawlicki and Wanda Hart along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin and her siblings: Anthony, Stanley and Jennie Pawlicki, Veronica Houlihan and Priscilla Paretta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Face coverings are mandatory. Social distancing and capacity limitations will be strictly observed. She will be laid to rest privately beside her husband in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Stella's name may be made to Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta St., New Britain, CT 06053. A Celebration of Stella's Life will be held once it is safe to gather.
