Age 92, of La Cordillera passed away on May 29, 2023. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She led her life with faith, kindness, and love in her heart. Stella loved spending time with her family, listening to music, especially the Bad Boys and of course Lawrence Welk. She is preceded in death by her husband, Filemon Gutierrez Jr, her daughter, Diana Olonia, and her son James Gutierrez. She is survived by her loving children David Gutierrez (Barbara) of Cordillera, Ernie Gutierrez (Laura) of Santa Fe, Margaret Gonzales (Elbert) of Las Colonias, Joseph Gutierrez (Lorrie) of Cordillera, Diana Lopez (Peter) and Victoria Marcis (Chris) who she raised as her own children. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and many great grandchildren who were like her own babies. Special thank you to Vanessa Gonzales for providing special care for grandma. Also, special thanks to Dr. Ellen Warren, Mardee Harrington, RN, and Mountain Home Healthcare who also provided special care. Rosary will be recited on Friday June 9, 2023 at 8:45am follow by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at San Francisco De As?s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
