It is with a broken heart and a crushed spirit that I write this because on January 16, 2021, my Stanley passed away from cancer at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital at the age of 70.
Stanley was a gentle man and his interests were simple. Hunting for that elusive deer, fishing, and dining out. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and he rarely missed a game.
The love for his family was immeasurable. Our home was always full of family, friends, happiness, and laughter. If it was in his power he would do anything for his family.
True to Stanley's nature he was an organ donor. He will live on in the people who benefited from his selfless donation.
Stanley was born on December 3, 1950 to Chester and Ruth Ziemba in Johnstown, Pa, who preceded him in death.
Stanley will be forever loved by his wife Michele. He will be remembered by the following family members: son Chris and his wife Dixie; daughter Stephanie and her husband Eric; step-son Ron Musselman and step-daughter Susan Kulick; brother Chet who helped him through this journey; and sister Ginney Ribblett. There are 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Stan was a PER of Elks Lodge 2257 and a member of American Legion Post 109.
Because of the current pandemic, services will be delayed until it is safe to gather. Notices will be placed in the Harrisburg and Johnstown papers.
Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
