Stanley Wester 81 was born April 5,1940. He was the oldest child to the late Frank and Evelyn Bernice Wester; died peacefully Monday November 29. 2021 at home accompanied by his dear wife Cynthia Wester of 54 years. He was a graduate of Campbell High School in Rockwood, TN. Stanley Wester attended Knoxville College in Knoxville TN; He was employed by the Social Security Administration in Chicago, Illinois. He retired from Knoxville TVA Steam Plant in Kingston TN.
Stanley had a love for history and was very knowledgeable about the history of Rockwood, TN. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He attended Camp Cedine in Spring City TN. as a teen, where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Occasionally he taught Bible classes at Speight Chapel AME Zion in Rockwood TN He also spoke to the Senior Saints group as a member of the Little Leaf Missionary Baptist Church in Oliver Springs TN. He enjoyed the company of many in the Roane County area.
Preceded in death by his parents; Frank Wester, Jr. and Evelyn Bernice Wester; brother, Havert Eugene Wester, sister, Kay Yvonne Wester, daughter, Kimberly Wester Riddle, grandson, Bryson Wester.
He lives to cherish in his memory; wife, Cynthia Wester, son, Adam Wester, sister, Jacqueline Robinson, of Spring City TN; brother, Charles E. Siler of Rockwood TN; Son-in-law, Jeffrey Riddle Sr. of Knoxville TN; grandsons, Le-Marquis Wester, Jeffrey Riddle Jr., granddaughter Kamryn Riddle; great granddaughter: Gia Wester. A host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
