Stanley G. Veenstra, went home to his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2021 in his favorite place Saint Augustine, Florida and was raised in Zeeland, Michigan. Stan was a great man of strong faith and conviction who proudly served many years as an Elder in his church homes; as well as volunteered for the Billy Graham Ministry and Prison Ministries. Through determination and hard work, he had achieved tremendous success' in life including being a Star Athlete, Staff Sergeant in the Air force, Graduate of Broadcasting school and attained numerous designations and awards throughout his career in the financial and insurance industry; but above all else he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Stan shared 54 years of love and blessings with his wife Sandy, including raising 3 children and traveling the world. His hobbies included playing golf, writing short stories and poetry, spending time with his grandchildren and collecting cars. Stan never met a stranger; everyone loved the man he was for his charismatic personality, warm smile and love of God. He now rests in the arms of his Lord and is reunited with his treasured son Derek and other family and friends who predeceased him. We who are left to mourn are his wife Sandy, son Chris and wife Mindy, daughter Jennifer and husband David, grandchildren Kaylene, Carissa, Conner, Cassandra, Landon, Amy and Christian; as well as extended family and friends. We are all broken hearted but will trust God's perfect Plan. Due to immune compromised family members; there will be NO public visitation or funeral service for Stan. Immediate Family is having an intimate service which will be officiated by the Reverend Albert Linnell. We ask that you share memories and watch his tribute at www.muddstreet.com and/or www.craigfuneralhome.com.
