Stanley W. Scibek, 76, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022 in Wichita Falls. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 27, 2022 at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham. Stan's ashes will laid to rest beside his beloved wife Sue in Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. Arrangements are with Morrison Funeral Home.
Stan was born December 15, 1945 in Torrington, CT. to the late Grace Edith (Noack) Scibek and Stanley Chester Scibek. He grew up in Havre de Grace, MD where he graduated from high school in 1963. While attending the University of Maryland in 1967, he left to serve in the Army in Vietnam where he achieved the rank of Captain before being discharged in 1972. He married Sue Taylor November 25, 1972 in Temple, TX. Stan went on to be a financial loan officer. After working in Wichita Falls for many years, he and Sue moved to Graham in 1986. Stan retired from Graham National Bank after several years as a loan officer. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club during his time in Graham.
Stan was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, parents Grace and Stanley Scibek.
Survivors include; sons, and Richard Scibek and wife Daniella of Houston, Ronald Scibek of Wichita Falls and Matthew Scibek and wife Christy of Wichita Falls; granddaughter, Marcianna Scibek; brothers, Jim and Michael Scibek.
