Stanley (Stan) Schiewe age 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. Stan was born at home on August 7th, 1938 and was a proud lifelong Fort Atkinson area resident. Stan graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1956 and went on to serve in the National Guard and Air Force. Stan retired from Spacesaver Corporation in 2003 and enjoyed hiking, camping, family time, his beloved dogs, and any activities surrounding the Brewers or Packers. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia; his brothers; Gerald (Molly) Scheiwe of Green Bay and Michael Scheiwe of Houghton; sisters, Mildred (Eugene) Larson of Washington, and Karen Ayers; his children; Shelly (Jeff) Dailey of Tega Cay, Scott (Kari) Schiewe of Fort Atkinson, and Stacy Schiewe of Sturgeon Bay; his step children; Lori (Bob) Sobon of Milwaukee, Jim (Kattie) Blumer of Fort Atkinson, and Michael Blumer of Oconomowoc; his grandchildren; Lyndsie, Justin, Brendan, Travis, Colton and Chaston; his great grandchildren; Raegan and George. In addition to his parents; Carl and Gertrude (Farnsworth) Scheiwe, also preceding him in death were his brothers; Louis and Richard; his sister; Betty J. Schuelke; his grandson; Donnie Sobon; and his co-worker & best friend, Dave Jenson of Milton. Per Stan's wishes, there will be no formal services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy might wish to consider a memorial to Rainbow Hospice Care of Jefferson or the Parkinson's Foundation.
