Stanley Curtis Massey
Son, brother, father, friend. Loved by so many, and sadly missed by all.
Stanley Curtis Massey born 12/15/1960 in Saint Louis Missouri, and departed this life in Springfield, Missouri 02/07/2018. He was preceded in death by his step sister Toni Dawnell Champagne in 1982, his father John Wayne Massey Sr. 2009.
He is survived by his children Joshua , Stephanie and Kalista Massey, 2 grandsons Trent Massey of Georgia, and Macen Carver of Missouri , and granddaughter Breanna Massey of Georgia. Mother and step father Barbara and Charles Pratt of Missouri, 3 brothers, John, Robert and James of Missouri, 1 sister, Judy Massey Scherrer of Missouri.
Stanley loved his music, he played guitar and harmonica, self taught at an early age. He was a very good artist, but unfortunately he never pursued his talents .
Stanley served in the United States Army, 1981 to 1983 , honorably discharged.
He will be missed by so many family and friends.
His wish was to be cremated and his ashes scattered on the creek and river where he loved to camp and fish. This will be done sometime in the summer of 2018.
