Stanley Martinez, 88 was called home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 29, 2024, at Harlingen Medical in Harlingen, Texas. He was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas, the son of Estanislao Martinez and Manuela Garcia. Stanley was a hardworking man and a devout catholic. He was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Stanley worked as a salesman in the pharmacy industry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Estanislao and Manuela Martinez; his loving wife, Clarissa Martinez; brother, Robert Martinez.
Stanley leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Mario Martinez (Dina), Sam Martinez (Marcy), Lucy Miramontez (Walter); grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez (Brian Espinosa), Mario Martinez Jr. (Heather), Michael Martinez (Gabriella), Jason Martinez, Justin Martinez (Cristina Lugo), Jacob Martinez (Averie), Michael Peynado (April) & Olivia Carter (Anthony); great grandchildren, Hailey Garcia, Taylor Munoz (Anthony), Victoria Clancy, Liam Reason, Ethan Reason, Deacon Martinez, Mia Martinez, Colton Lewis & Breah Lewis, Aliyah Carter, Asher Carter, Aryana Carter, Ezer Peynado; sisters, Elvira Cantu (Joe), Estella Torres (Fred), Eloida Gomez (Rumaldo).
Visitation will be held on Friday September 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial is scheduled to be held on Saturday September 7, 2024, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cristobal Zavala, Honorable Judge Arturo Salas, Luis De La Rosa and Joe de la Cruz. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Justin Martinez, Mario Martinez Jr., Michael Martinez, Jason Martinez, Jacob Martinez, and Michael Peynado.
