Stanley E. Gula, 77, of Franklin, NH died at his home on Feb. 22, 2021.
He was born Oct.26, 1943 Holyoke MA. son of Edward S. Gula and Lillian {Skinnger} Gula, 24 High St., South Hadley Falls, MA. Stan was named after his uncle who died on Sept. 26, 1943 while serving in WWII.
Attended South Hadley Falls elementary schools, and South Hadley High School graduating in 1961. Also attended Holyoke Community College. He was a member of the MA. National Guard, 26th Yankee Division from 1964 to 1970.
At the age of 19 Stan joined Tecnifax / Scott Graphics, of Holyoke and South Hadley, MA where he was promoted to plant manager moving to California in 1976.
In 1967 Stan was married to his wife, Virginia L. Tyler in Enfield, CT. They raised two children, Lori-Ann, and David.
Stan and Ginny enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, skiing, snowmobiling, golf, and just being outdoors.
He is predeceased by four brothers, Edward, Gerald, Dennis, and Richard. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Virginia [Tyler] Gula of Franklin, NH, daughter Dr. Lori Tyler Gula, of Lee, NH, son David Gula and wife Joann of Epsom, NH, his sister Susan Chamberland of Chicopee, MA along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 2-4 and 5-7pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10 am at St. Paul Church in Franklin. Burial will be in the spring. Masks and social distancing are required at the services.
