Stanley Ford, age 68 of Fayetteville died Friday, September 3, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Stanley was born on December 14, 1952 on Fort Bragg Army Base the son of the late Henry Carson Ford and Hazel Mason and is preceded in death by sister, Patty Jo Ford.
Stanley was a mechanic and could fix anything. He would sit down and study on something and even would find a book to read to figure it out. He had a strong mentality for creating things. He would say "I am a Jack of all Trades and master of none."
He enjoyed Deer hunting and would tell his wife that when he was in his deer stand out in the woods he could do a lot of deep thinking and solved a lot of problems that way. It was the solitude that gave him contentment. He enjoyed music and played the drums at his church.
He loved his family and always put them first, he was a great husband and soulmate to his wife of 38 years. Family came first, but he loved people and would go out of his way to help everyone he knew.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Dunn, NC. Burial will follow in the Old Warren Cemetery, located off of Alphin Road in Dunn.
He is survived by: His wife: Onnie W. Ford of the home.
A son: Eli Alford & (wife) Savannah of Charlotte, NC.
A Daughter: Cindy Turner & (husband) Brantley of Hope Mills, NC.
Brother: Henry Ford & (wife) Shyrene of Fayetteville, NC.
Grandson: David Turner of Atlanta, Georgia.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
