Sister Margaret Ann "Peggy" Brennan, OP, died April 5, 2021. Professed in 1958, she taught in elementary and high schools in Nebraska, Illinois, Connecticut and Wisconsin. Sister Peggy served as secretary to the Prioress of the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa at the motherhouse, Sinsinawa, Wis. She devoted 32 years to Dominican High School, Whitefish Bay, Wis. Sister Peggy delighted in each of her educational ministries and strove to instill the Dominican values of truth, compassion, justice, community, and partnership in her students. She was born May 20, 1935, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Fleming) Brennan. Her parents; three sisters, Catherine Marriott, Mary Eunice Strozdas, and Sister Jean Brennan, OP; and four brothers, the Rev. John Brennan, William "Robert" Brennan, Richard Brennan, and James Brennan, preceded her in death. Sister Peggy was adored by her 35 nieces and nephews and numerous great- and great-great nieces and nephews. A fun and warm aunt, she showered them with love, birthday cards and cinnamon bread. Her gentle demeanor, thoughtfulness and quick wit will be dearly missed. She described heaven as a "grand reunion," and comfort is taken in her reunion with her family.
