Shryle Diehl passed away in her home embraced by the loving arms of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her "knight in shining armour", Wilbert L. Diehl. Their unbreakable bond was formed in high school and continued throughout their lives.
She was the daughter of John P. and Pearl C. McCoy and grew up on Pine Road beside Yellow Breeches Creek with her cousin and best friend, Joan Posey. Only 3 weeks apart in age, they have been connected at the hip for 91 years. Wib and Shryle's homes never strayed too far from that gently flowing body of water.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Robin L. Diehl (Nichole Toler) and Kate Diehl; her sister, Jackie Bowers (Donald Bowers); her grandchildren - Tracy Barclay (Michelle Freitas), Bryn Diehl, Ross (Jennifer Infante) Arment and Isaiah Diehl and great grandson, Ari Fischer Arment.
