Mrs. Shirley Ann Williams, 85, of Happy passed away Saturday, April 24th 2021.
She was born May 29, 1935, in Hollis Okla., to George Andrew and Gracie Leo Kelley. She was married to Robert Omer Williams who preceded her in death in 2008.
Shirley loved people and never met a stranger. She loved children, whether they were her kids, grandkids, great grandkids or just the kids in the neighborhood. She always had enough love to share with everyone. She was quite the homemaker in her day where she took great pride in her canning skills. Shirley loved gardening and working with her plants. She loved to fish and was always up for a good fishing trip. She had quite a technique for wrapping the fishing line around her finger to make sure she didn't miss and bites.
Shirley spend many years in the Happy Independent Schools working in the cafeteria where she was lovingly referred to as Mrs. Shirley. She always loved seeing all the kids as they made their way through the cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Omer Williams and a daughter Patricia Ann Northcutt.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Rockey Williams of Jay, Okla., Jimmy and wife Dena Williams of Tyler; Tammy Williams of Amarillo; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, April 28th 2021 at 11 a.m. with Mr. Rick Bloodworth officiating.
