Shirley Ann Skerritt

Shirley Ann Skerritt, 89, widow of John Francis Skerritt, of North Charleston, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Funeral Services were held in South Carolina. Shirley was born in Barnerville, New York on April 23, 1931. She was the daughter of George and Cenah Mansheffer. She graduated from Cobleskill High School in Cobleskill, New York and worked for GE and J&S Beauty in New York and Sky City in Summerville, SC and Tomlinson's in Ladson, SC. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, genealogy, dolls, glassware and ceramics. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. She is survived by her sons, Steven J. Skerritt (Geraldine), Michael J. Skerritt (Jean), John F. Skerritt (Barbara), David J. Skerritt and Andrew J. Skerritt (Joy); 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and her sisters, Lois Merkley and Mary Falzarano. She was predeceased by her husband, John Francis Skerritt and her sisters, Ethel Spencer, Joyce Hoefer and Ruth Mansheffer.
