Lancaster, Shirley Ann Age 84, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Brookdale Senior Living in Adrian. Shirley was born Monday, May 23, 1938 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan to the late Rollin and Bonnie (maiden-Upchurch) Bean. She is survived by four children, Thomas (Nancy) Lancaster, Lisa Hart, Charles (Ellen) Lancaster II and Amy (Bruce) Melosh; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Lancaster; sister, June Langley and son-in-law, Joe Hart. She was a long time administrative assistant at Commonwealth Associates, former 4-H leader and in earlier days loved to ride motorcycles and also had equestrian skills. Cremation has taken place. A time to share memories for Shirley and Bob will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest with Bob at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
