Shirley Sue (York) Harper, age 82, of Erie, CO passed away November 8, 2024. Shirley was born November 17, 1941, in Lenoir City, TN to William Carson York and Maude Lee (Price) York. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years, Charles Ralph Harper; and sisters Roxie Alice York and Betty Ruth York. She is survived by daughters Tracey Harper Reichart (Ron), Boulder, CO; and Serena Harper McDonald (Thomas), Ashburn, VA; and grandson William Reichart. Shirley was a longtime member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Loudon. She spent many years working as an environmental laboratory technician in Oak Ridge, TN, until her retirement and move to Colorado in 2006. She loved learning about her family's genealogy and was a proud member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
