SHIRLEY JEAN CASTERLINE, 84, of New Haven, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. born Feb. 27, 1938, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorothy E. (Ice) Coder Sr. She married Paul Casterline on April 16, 1955. She retired from New Haven High School in 2003 after 29 years as a Bookkeeper. Shirley enjoyed golfing and sewing, but most all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. Shirley is survived by her children, Lori Ransburg, Pam Jump and Kirk (Elaine) Casterline; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert "Bob" Coder Jr. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Casterline; sisters, Joyce Bivens and June Smith; and a brother, Bruce Coder. Funeral service is 2p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, with calling one hour before the service. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
