Shirley Ann Bolton passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 73, surrounded by family and her lifelong best friend. Shirley was born in Midland, Texas, to Evelyn and Barnett Collier on March 18, 1949. She grew up in Midland, where she was a proud 1967 graduate of Midland High School. She married Harold Bolton on April 7, 1967. She was a longtime member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church where she volunteered her time and sang in the choir for many years. Shirley had an unwavering faith in the Lord and never missed an opportunity to share God's word. She was a prayer warrior for many friends and family. Shirley was very crafty and loved to cross stitch, crochet, sketch, make ceramics and mold clay. She had many art projects going at any given time. Her sense of humor touched many people's lives, as she loved to make people laugh and smile. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents Barnett and Evelyn, sister Beulah Montgomery, brother Ronnie Collier, and niece Victoria Sanderson. Shirley was loved by many who will always cherish her memory. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Stewart and son-in-law Ty of Midland, son Jason Bolton of Midland, grandsons Casey Foreman of Roundrock, and Garret Stewart of Midland, niece Sherry Blackwell and her husband Ronnie and nephew Freddy Moffatt, and numerous other extended family members. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend Judy Coots who was always there through the ups and downs of life and has always been a sister at heart. Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Midland. Services are entrusted to Willowbrook Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Midland.
