Shirley Blomberg June 26, 1955 - September 29, 2022 Boise, Idaho - Shirley Jean Blomberg, 67 was born on June 26, 1955 in Caldwell, Idaho to Parents, George and Lois "Jean" Stewart. Growing up, she lived in many states, including Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington, while her father built his business that supported the family. After graduating from Meridian High School in 1973, Shirley worked for Fearless Farris as a Secretary for Owner, Farris Lind. She married Paul Blomberg on October 23, 1976 and they had Daughter, Samantha Kaye in 1977 and Son, Matthew Paul in 1979. While raising their young family, Paul and Shirley started a trucking company, Trans Continental Transport (TCT), a successful family business. In 1995 Paul and Shirley "Unmarried" (as Shirley preferred to call it) but remained close while continuing to co-parent their Gifts from God. Shirley met her Life Partner, Terry Gilbert in 1996 and was devoted to him up to the time of her death. Shirley's passions were Terry, her Son and Grandchildren, going to movies, traveling, bowling and puzzle books. Shirley is survived by her Life Partner – Terry Gilbert, Son – Matthew Blomberg, Grandchildren – Samantha Blomberg, Nathan and Kalli, Jacob, Kayla and Jason, along with many Nieces, Nephews and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by Parents – George and Jean Stewart, Daughter – Samantha, Brothers – Jimmie and Jerry Stewart, and Daughter-in-Law – Vikki. Shirley's family would like to thank Martha Huber for her help during this trying time. Her love and devotion to Shirley can never be repaid. Martha is living proof "the angels walk among us." Shirley loved fiercely and was fiercely loved by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 4, 2022 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2:00pm with refreshments following in the reception hall.
