Sherryl Kathleen (Hostetter) VanNoty, 90, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the home she shared with her great grandson, Logan Bussard. She was born on September 25, 1934, in Elkhart, to the late Charles and Iva (Forker) Hostetter.
Sherryl is survived by her children, Carol Lee (Redman-Bussard) Stack (Ronald) of Elkhart, Duke "Byron Kent" Redman of Hudson, and Tami (Randy) Redman-Strayley of Hudson; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother, Tom (Jackie) Hostetter of Middlebury; sister, Marilyn Fair of Vandalia, MI; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.
In addition to her parents, Sherryl was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
In accordance with Sherryl's wishes, cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life potluck will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1 to 5 PM at the Elkhart County Historical Museum Auditorium, 304 West Vistula St, Bristol, IN 46507. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Sherryl's honor can be directed to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 Co Rd 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
