Webster, NY - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022, with beloved husband, son & daughter at her bedside after a courageous, yet short battle with cancer. She is predeceased by both parents, Hubert K. “Sonny” Bennett & Jane Ann Marshall Bennett of Pratts Hallow, NY as well as one brother, Thomas B. Bennett. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, William G Boulter; her son, Jeffrey S. Boulter (Michelle) of Webster; daughter, Jennifer N. Boulter Fox (Peter) of Webster; stepdaughter, Theresa L. Boulter of Greece; stepson, William S. Boulter (Jen) of Pittsford; two brothers, Terrance K. Bennett (Kathleen) of Nelson and Stephen D. Bennett (Jacqueline) of Syracuse; two sisters, Janet D. King (Thomas) of Hamilton and Sulyn M. Hennessey (Mark) of Rochester; 8 beautiful grandchildren whom she loved and adored; and several nieces and nephews.
Sherry “Polly” was a 1972 graduate of Stockbridge Valley Central School and went on to pursue a business certificate from CCBI and graduated from there in 1973. She spent many years afterwards working for her husband William as an administrative assistant at Boulter Rigging Corporation, a 5th generation company currently known as Boulter Industrial Contractors. She was able to retire from there in the late 1990’s. She loved her summers on Wolfe Island, Ontario; winters in Florida, trips to the Adirondacks, vacations with family, antique collecting and was an incredible cook. She enjoyed the simple things in life like movies, popcorn, chocolate, sleepovers with her grandkids, daisies, and the color blue. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and an amazing friend who will be deeply missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Webster Fireman’s Building, 172 Sanford Street, Webster, NY 14580. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Fund, Wilmot Cancer Center and to the 7th Floor ICU Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital.
