A Little While Longer.....
We all loved your laugh.
Wish we could have heard it a little longer.
your smiling face and loving heart, filled the times we each spent apart.
Through some pain and with some tears, your love was never bridled over the years.
You loved your children, with a love so strong,
it kept you going for so long.
We all feel pain, we all know loss,
never fully knowing that it would be at your cost,, that our hearts would cry out;
..We wish we had a little while longer..
All the prayers said for you as you struggled we were loving you.
Each of us in our own way grew closer to the Lord with each day, begging Jesus for one more chance.
To wake your resting body and restore you to many love arms.
But Jesus knew it was your time, His purpose and plan for realized.
We know that Heaven is where you are, with the maker of the stars.
When we miss the life we knew, the unique beauty that was you, we will fold our weary hands, bow our heads and release any words unsaid.
We know we'll see you soon, when the life we lived leads us to Heaven too, it will just be...
A little longer...
"A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also." - John 14:19 NKJV
..And when our days are done and we stand before Him, we will hear "Well done good and faithful servant" Matthew 25:23
..There will be a celebration of life for Shelly this spring. Date and time will be announced..
