Shelly Dawn Bottoms, 48, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at her home in Elizabethtown.She was born in Elizabethtown to Charles and Edith Pauline Bottoms. She was a factory worker at Altec Industries in Elizabethtown and a longtime member of Unity Baptist Church in Stephensburg. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Bottoms; and three brothers, Steve Bottoms, Scotty Bottoms and Larry Bottoms.Survivors include her mother, Edith Pauline Barnes Bottoms of Elizabethtown; a sister, Tonia Robinson; two brothers, Kelly Shawn (Heather) Bottoms and Robert Taylor, all of Elizabethtown; and seven nieces and nephews, Jennifer Wilcox, Tara Robinson, Macayla Wilson, Emily Bottoms, Aaron Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Davin Bottoms.The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Jim Swim officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
