Sheldon Quentin Coffield was born December 2, 1986 to the late Sandra Coffield Monroe and Harvey Monroe Jr. On Saturday, June 25, 2022 he was called home.
Sheldon grew up in Norristown, PA. Sheldon was part of the 2005 graduating class at Norristown Area High School. During his time at the high school, he participated in Track and Cross Country. He also played football, basketball, baseball and other sports in his youth.
Sheldon was a kind spirit and always had a smile on his face. He would give people the shirt off his back. He always wanted to help whenever and wherever he could. Sheldon was a hardworking man. He was dedicated and gave maximum effort. He was a huge 76ers fan, but also like the majority of the Philadelphia sports teams. He was an avid wrestling fan. He loved his nieces and nephews with all his heart and would do anything for them. Whenever he was around the children you could see how proud he was to be their uncle.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sandy Coffield and mother, Sandra Coffield Monroe.
He was known as Sheldon, Shel, Uncle Sheldon to his family and friends. Sheldon will be missed by his grandmother, Geraldine Coffield; his siblings, Brandon Coffield, Harvey Monroe (Chanelle Monroe), Bryan Monroe, Xiamara Monroe, Michael Monroe, Toshiek Robinson and Talaya Smith; his nieces and nephews, Leah Monroe, Naima Coffield, Xavier Swittenburg, Tyler Monroe, Bryan Monroe Jr., Michael Monroe Jr., Jayden Monroe, Judah Frick, Xierra Swittenburg, Monae Monroe, Tristan Monroe, Malaysia Monroe, Alexandra Swittenburg, Alyvia Monroe, Amara Monroe, Jasiah Monroe and Kayden Monroe; and a host of aunts, uncles, godchildren, and many others he held in his heart.
