Shelby Lynn Wimmenauer, 24, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was a resident of Unionville and Greenwood.
She was born on March 3, 1998 in Franklin, IN. Survivors include father, Jeff Wimmenauer, Sr.; mother, Cheri (Dan Miller) Kattau; brothers, Jeffery (Chelsea) Wimmenauer, Jr. and Garret (Jessica) Matthews; grandparents, Bill and Barb Wimmenauer, Diana and John Conner, Bob and Lois Kattau, Bill Miller; nieces and nephews Ava, Grant, Scarlet, Mia, Tanner and Cole; and her beloved dogs and daily companions, Zak, Henry, Doug and Charlie.
Shelby's life was forever changed after suffering an anoxic brain injury on November 17, 2001. She taught us so many things throughout the remaining 21 years of her life, most importantly how to give and receive unconditional love. She was surrounded by love and support from her family throughout her life and at the time of her death.
Shelby received her certificate of completion in 2017 from Franklin Community High School.
Shelby will be remembered, cherished, and honored by her family and friends all of the days of their lives.
